Our core value is telling stories that matter. We strive to make films which have a strong, lasting impact on our audience.
The team at Postcard Productions has an extensive range of expertise in documentary making, including directors from prime-time BBC One and Channel 4 documentaries.
We recently produced a documentary film for Channel 4 called The Stranger On The Bridge which followed one man’s journey to track down the person who stopped him from taking his own life so he could thank him.
The purpose of the film was to raise awareness of mental illness and suicide. It has had an overwhelmingly positive response so far.
At Postcard Productions we love hearing people’s stories. If you’ve got a story to share or an idea for a film then please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us.
Our corporate package offers professional, innovative and cost-effective films. We have made content for a variety of organisations including Cardiff University and The Royal College of Psychiatrists.
We work closely with our clients, ensuring that their brand and target audience is always carefully considered.
Our access to a wide range of both high quality equipment and talent means that we can create exceptional films which help businesses effectively communicate their message.
We have a proven film production process to ensure that every project is always delivered on time and on budget.
Our ethos is to make films that matter and make a difference. We work with charities to create content that has a big impact and we do this by putting human stories at the heart of what we do.
We’ve worked with some of the leading charities in the UK and pride ourselves on being able to work with sensitive subjects and help people tell their story in their own unique way.
From case studies, to showreels, to campaigning films, we work with you to make films that connect with your audience and get you noticed.
We are also the experts when it comes to user generated content (getting people to film themselves in a diarycam style). We work with you and your supporters to make a series of self filmed clips over a period that reflects a truly personal, intimate, experience, that then gets edited together into one short film.
We believe user generated content is the way forward and allows you to not only involve your audience in the creation of content, but communicates with your audiences in a totally new, more tangible way.
We have formed strong relationships with many charities and worked together with them to not only create films for but also successful fundraising appeals.
Most recently we helped the charity Rethink Mental Illness to create the +20 appeal, which highlighted the fact that people with schizophrenia are dying on average 20 years earlier than the general population.
We produced a series of films for the charity that were used as a tool to raise awareness as well as to raise money for them.
Two of our producers have backgrounds in the charity sector and have experience and knowledge in creating effective fundraising campaigns.
Film is an ideal education and training tool. We create training videos which are simple to follow and provide clear, accurate information which is easy to understand.
We have just produced a training film for the Royal College of Psychiatrists. We worked closely with them to ensure we delivered a resource that was informative and engaging.
Postcard Productions can assist you in every step of the film’s creative process, from scripting to storyboarding. All our training videos are shot using the best quality HD cameras so they look and sound professional.
