Ash Holme: What Not To Do With Dad

TELEVISION - ITV

Details

This laugh-out-loud series sees Ash and Phil bring a whole new meaning to family days out. Wildly inappropriate and unorthodox they are pushed to their limits. That is, the limits of their awkwardness.

In each episode Ash undertakes a task you would never want to do with your dad. Things that they might regret ever knowing. Or seeing… And that will test their relationship like never before. How far will they be prepared to go? Is there a line they won’t cross? And how might this impact how they see each other?

Episode 1 sees them learn the art of Japanese rope bondage from Shibari teacher, Petit Pretzel. Mastering how to tie each other up it builds to them suspending each other from the shibari rig. Along the way they discuss issues of body image and relationships.

Episode 2 sees them step into the world of OnlyFans foot fetishes with model, Emilie Rae. Learning all about sploshing they are then set the challenge of shopping for their ingredients. They enjoy a practise run, getting down and dirty with their food before they go live on Emilie’s OnlyFans. Who will prove the biggest hit with her followers? Along the way they discuss issues of sex and money.

Phil raised Ash as a single parent and they have a close bond, despite being very different characters. Where Ash is loud, unfiltered and spontaneous, Phil is reserved, ordered and meticulous. These contrasts provide plenty of comedy and banter through their very different approaches to the challenges as they push themselves beyond their comfort zones and discover new things about themselves - and each other.

Ash and Phil are the daddy-daughter answer to the Walshes and Whitehalls. This is an untapped dynamic that offers a fresh lens to understand the modern world through big characters, big challenges and big revelations.
