The Postcard Foundation made this short film for C4WS Homeless Project to promote their innovative hosting scheme where volunteers with spare rooms provide these as interim accommodation for those who are homeless to bridge the gap they need before they can move into their own homes.

Working with an award-winning DoP we deployed a documentary style to create a film that celebrates human kindness and the powerful transformations of hosting - for both guest and hosts. It was made with input from C4WS Homeless Project’s Steering Group of people with lived experience to ensure authenticity and sensitivity.

The film helped drive recruitment of hosts for C4WS Homeless Project and we are proud that several members of our staff have also become hosts.
